The Spice Girls have announced their first tour for a decade, with six United Kingdom stadium dates in June next year.

Instead, Emma "Baby" Bunton, Geri "Ginger" Halliwell, Mel "Sporty" Chisholm, and Mel "Scary" Brown will tour as a four-piece unit.

The Spice Girls have announced their comeback today.

Beckham was absent from the clip.

Victoria Beckham looks set to be left out of the multi-date tour which will take in most of the UK.

The band will kick off their tour at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 1 June 2019, before moving onto dates in Coventry, London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Sunderland throughout the rest of the summer.

Co-host Jamie Theakston asked several times if news of a reunion tour was true, and Bunton finally gave in and said: "Everything would be announced on social media at 15:00 GMT (10 a.m. ET)".

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 10:30 am and there will be no pre-sales.

Mel C added: 'We can't be falling out now if we're going on tour!'

Meanwhile, a third launched a lengthy thread complaining about Victoria's absence, saying: 'Spice Girls reunion without Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice aka the now most rich, famous and successful out of the group isn't really a Spice Girls reunion'.

Emma Bunton announced on her radio show in the United Kingdom that fans can expect "big" Spice Girls news at 3pm today. On Halloween, Mel B dressed up as Posh and held a sign that read, "No I am not going on tour".

"It's just the four of us that are fully confirmed", Mel B told ITV's "Loose Women" show.

Spice Girls also reunited in 2012 for a one-off performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games.

Emma said: "It's time to spice things up all over again!" In 2007, all five returned for a world tour.

But with Christmas coming up, we can definitely see a fair few of you buying tickets for this one.

The group split in 1998 after becoming one of the UK's biggest girl groups ever.
