Arsene Wenger: Former Arsenal boss will not manage in England again

He told Sky Sports News on Wednesday that the plan is still to find a new job by the start of 2019, but that he doesn't know where yet.

"At the moment I'm having a good rest and I watch football a lot".

Meanwhile Wenger, whose final seasons in charge of Arsenal saw the once mighty Gunners struggling to contend for the English title, was pleased by the north London giants' start to this season.

The Frenchman said: "I have dedicated my whole life to one club - it would be hard and not well accepted".

The Gunners have not tasted defeat for twelve matches, after losing their first two competitive games under new boss Unai Emery.

Bellerin suffered a right thigh injury at Selhurst Park and will be assessed ahead of Liverpool's trip to Emirates Stadium on Saturday - where a win would move Arsenal to within one point of Jurgen Klopp's side.

Tottenham to play remaining home games at Wembley
If City can finish top of the table again, we will become the first side in a decade to win back-to-back Premier League titles. Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola , has said there is a five-horse race for the Premier League title this season.

However, the League One outfit were reduced to 10-men themselves after O'Connor was shown a straight red card for a reckless foul on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 84th minute and Arsenal held on to secure the 2-1 win.

"As a manager you have an influence, not only on the careers of players, the style of play and results but on the structure and impact you give to the club and overall that is very important - that the club can always continue at a very good level".

"Why not?", he replied.

"You know, when you look at the last season we have had at home, we had championship form because we won 15 games, two draws and two defeats".

Emery said: "They are a very organised team, tactically very well worked".
