After iPhone spying report, China suggests Trump switch to Huawei

  • NY Times publishes Trump assassination short story

President Donald Trump still uses his three iPhones - two official, one personal - on a regular basis to call friends, business partners and acquaintances, despite warnings from USA intelligence that Chinese and Russian agents may be privy to the president's conversations.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying dismissed the claims of Chinese spying in The Times story, calling such reports "evidence that The New York Times makes fake news".

The New York Times report is also remarkable, she said, because it shows that Trump's own person aides are so terrified by his behavior that they've leaked it to the press.

"Secondly, I suggest they replace their iPhone with Huawei ones if they are really concerned about security issues".

While they may not have access physically to his phone, Chinese spies could intercept unsecured calls over mobile phone networks or tap the phones of people the President calls.

Trump's aides have repeatedly warned him that his cellphone calls are not secure, and they have told him that Russian spies are routinely eavesdropping on the calls, as well, the paper said.

"I only use government phones, and have only one seldom used government cell phone", Mr. Trump tweeted.

Tahith Chong, 18, was called into United's first team training in the Chilean's absence. "No, I'm happy here. I accepted his apologies. "It was the end of the story with me in the minute he apologised".

Mr Trump tweeted: "I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency". Hua offered three recommendations.

"If they are still not at ease, then in order to have an entirely secure device, they can stop using all forms of modern communication devices and cut off all ties with the outside world."

Russian Federation is not believed to be running as sophisticated an influence effort as China because of Mr. Trump's apparent affinity for President Vladimir V. Putin, a former official said.

Russia, too, dismissed the eavesdropping allegations. The Chinese, for example, have put together a list of President Trump's friends and are hoping to influence him through these trusted sources. Trump would prefer to use his personal iPhone because he can not store his contacts in iPhones approved by the NSA.

United States intelligence agents say - according to The Times - that Trump takes electronic security very lightly and does not limit his communications to secure devices that he has access to as president.

Trump jumped on the news early Thursday, writing on Twitter that "so-called experts on Trump" at The Times had written a boring article that was so riddled with errors "I do not have time here to correct it".
