Timberwolves Cancel Practice After Jimmy Butler’s Hilarious Outburst Wednesday

In the meantime, Timberwolves players insisted Wednesday that the situation surrounding Butler wouldn't be a distraction and his departure wouldn't do significant damage.

Jimmy Butler called a players-only meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.

It seems safe to say that Jimmy's days in Minneapolis are numbered.

Butler created a media circus yesterday when he caused a scene at Minnesota's practice and then immediately sat down for an interview with ESPN which he had set up. But one team should be happy he's not on their roster - the Los Angeles Lakers. Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka should be thankful. Butler with Thibodeau met once again in hopes of being traded.

Interpol president resigns after being detained in China
President Xi has also placed a premium on obtaining the return of officials accused of fraud and corruption from overseas . Meng likely dealt extensively with former security chief Zhou Yongkang, who is now serving a life sentence for corruption.

The T-Wolves didn't want this circus to get any more out of control than it now is, so they chose to cancel practice Thursday. But there's more to it.

This all started with HIS trade demands and HIS quotes speaking down to his teammates over the past few months, specifically Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. "But I just want to win". They don't compete. He may have a point with Wiggins, but Towns is a 22-year-old All-NBA player with historic offensive output for his position.

It's time to move on from Jimmy Butler and it's time for him to move on as well. Either way, the National Basketball Association remains the best. Screaming from the top of his lungs, Butler uttered taunts at his teammates such as "They ain't [expletive]!" and "They soft!", league sources said. Butler turned down a four-year, $110 million contract from the Timberwolves in the offseason. The All-Star forward's return to the team included "verbally challenging teammates, coaches and front office executives" and a scrimmage in which Butler led third-stringers against the team's starters, according to ESPN. LeBron may need another superstar to deliver the Lakers a championship, but Jimmy Butler ain't it.
