  • Marco Rubio Calls Alex Jones a Clown: ‘Don’t Touch Me Again!’

- Twitter permanently banned right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his Infowars show for abusive behavior, a day after CEO Jack Dorsey testified before Congress about alleged bias against conservatives on the platform.

Twitter previously had suspended Jones for a week after he broke site rules against violent threats.

As part of the ban, Jones will not be able to create new accounts on Twitter or take over any existing ones. However, according to a report by The Daily Beast, Twitter confirmed that one of the videos that violated its policy was an InfoWars video posted to Jones' Twitter account.

Before that hearing, Jones spotted a reporter waiting in the hall outside the meeting room, and Jones proceeded to berate the journalist, who has covered Jones' website and his suspensions from social media.

He later posted videos showing himself verbally confronting a CNN reporter as well as Republican Senator Marco Rubio in a hallway. Dorsey testified at both hearings, but did not appear to witness the confrontation. Some of the parents of the victims have sued Jones for mental and emotional distress.

"You want me to get arrested", Jones claimed.

US cancels Pakistan aid over militant record
The announcement, and Pompeo´s visit, come weeks after Khan took office amid concerns he would remain tolerant of militant groups. It also believes that a Pakistani crackdown could be pivotal in deciding the outcome of the long-running war in Afghanistan.

He continues by saying Darcy 'smiles like a possum that crawled out of the rear end of a dead cow'.

Twitter now joins YouTube as a social media platform that won't have anything to do with Jones or InfoWars.

Rubio grew angry when Jones patted him on the shoulder, and told Jones not to touch him again.

While he began broadcasting his shows in 1999, Jones' profile has spread from the far-right fringe in recent years. That's what you look like.

Jones was live on Twitter's Periscope service the whole time. I still find the man's actions and dedication to making sure that Twitter is a "public square" where anyone can speak to be a bit shortsighted, as too often those defending themselves from harassment get banned while their harassers go free.

Darcy has aggressively questioned social media companies about the forbearance they showed Jones, asking why they have allowed him to remain on their platforms for as long as they have.
