Twitter founder Jack Dorsey has defended his company's decision to continue publishing the controversial tweets of the American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, saying Jones's content "hasn't violated our rules".

Dorsey appeared to take a swipe at the tech platforms that banned Jones and said Twitter refused to take "one-off actions to make us feel good" or make decisions that could ultimately fuel "new conspiracy theories". Dorsey said the company was committed to promoting "a healthy conversational environment" - which included Jones. "Moving forward, we all need more clarity on what their rules are and how they intend to enforce them".

Accounts like Jones' can often sensationalize issues and spread unsubstantiated rumors, so it's critical journalists document, validate, and refute such information directly so people can form their own opinions. "This is what serves the public conversation best", Dorsey said.

But what was really striking was what Jack Dorsey and the Twitter Safety team went on to say about the general principles regarding fake news and conspiracy theories on the platform. He pledged to fix that about the platform. "When users violate these policies repeatedly, like our policies against hate speech and harassment or our terms prohibiting circumvention of our enforcement measures, we terminate their accounts".

Jankto joins Sampdoria as Torreira nears exit
Jankto had previously been linked with Arsenal , but it now seems he will act as the replacement for Torreira , who is a reported target for Unai Emery in North London.

Apple removed most of Jones's podcasts for violating hate speech guidelines.

Dorsey further explained/admitted that Twitter has "been awful at explaining our decisions in the past", but the platform refuses to "succumb and simply react to outside pressure" by banning Jones like most other digital platforms.

"The war on your mind is in full swing as globalists remove outlets of liberty and truth, starting with the top of the speak: Alex Jones", a statement on his website read.

"We've been banned completely on Facebook, Apple and Spotify", Jones tweeted on Monday. Twitter has recently stepped up actions against fake accounts, but the company has admitted that it has no "scalable policy or set of product features around authenticity of content".
