  • Donald Trump continues to deny Russia had any involvement in his 2016 US Presidential campaign

"The hacking is the crime. The President didn't hack".

"I can't keep with Rudy Giuliani's theories of defense", Durbin said.

Former senior Federal Bureau of Investigation official Chuck Rosenberg says there is enough information on public record to suspect that President Trump or those close to him will inevitably be charged with conspiring to work together with Russian Federation.

CNN reported last Thursday that Mr Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen is prepared to tell federal investigators that Mr Trump knew and approved of the Trump Tower meeting where a Russian lawyer with links to the Kremlin was expected to deliver damaging information about Hillary Clinton. So I think there is enough.

Manafort's trial, in which he faces charges on 18 counts of violating tax and banking laws, is a high-profile test of the Mueller team's investigation into Russian election interference in 2016. "It's like his "aloha" - it means both 'hello" and 'I'm guilty.'" But Trump and his team "have recently rebranded, and are using a new phrase that Trump tweeted out this morning: "'Collusion is not a crime, '" he added.

Zuckerberg loses $16 billion in record Facebook fall
The slump is the biggest drop in market capitalisation in history - far exceeding Intel's $91bn single-day loss in September 2000. Commercialisation of those apps is nascent.

Trump himself also said in a New York Times interview in December, "There is no collusion, and even if there was, it's not a crime".

Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen has said he'd be willing to go on the record with the special counsel and say the president did indeed know about the meeting. Trump tweeted. "They are totally unhinged and in many ways, after witnessing first hand the damage they do to so many innocent and decent people, I enjoy watching". He said there was no collusion. Trump has also asserted he didn't know about the meeting.

During a call into Fox News later Monday, Giuliani sought to push back against that notion, saying he was making the same point that he had "over and over" that the word "collusion" doesn't appear in the criminal code. But, as his attorney Rudolph Giuliani did on Monday, Trump muddied those waters today.

But Mr Giuliani was persuaded to continue with the fiery interview at the compromise of being offered some coffee.

In particular, he zeroes in on a passage about the scope of Mueller's investigation when it comes to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who is now on trial for alleged money laundering and other charges.
