But Mr. Jones, former President Obama's "green jobs czar" who was forced to resign in 2009 after news broke that he called Republicans "a-holes" and signed a "911 Truth" petition, said "a rank bigot who is a conspiracy theorist" got what was coming to her.

Roseanne Barr, the show's titular character, was sacked from her talent agency on Tuesday shortly after ABC announced it was canning the successful sitcom reboot.

The star is due to appear on comedian Joe Rogan's podcast on Friday.

Hours after star Roseanne Barr posted a racist message on Twitter, ABC has axed the reboot of her hit comedy Roseanne. What "leaving Twitter" means is unclear. Above all, I want to apologize to Valerie Jarrett, as well as to ABC and the cast and crew of the Roseanne show.

In one of the tweets, she wrote, "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj". "I'm exhausted of being attacked & belittled more than other comedians who have said worse", Barr wrote, without specifying which comedians she was referring to.

Kim is not a weak leader, says US Secretary of State
Last week, the White House sent its deputy chief of staff and his advance team to the city state, the official said. It is insistent it will not engage in any peace process that jeopardises its leadership or its survival as a state.

The 65-year-old has insisted she will "defend herself" after apologising for posting a racist comment, as she urged enraged Twitter users to "go away".

Barr's tweet on Tuesday may have been the straw that broke the camel's back, but there's a lot to understand about how exactly "Roseanne" came to an end. Barr also made another apology late Tuesday.

In addition to the continued royalties from episodes of Roseanne, other sources of income for Barr include TV cameos, TV appearances and books, giving her a total of $42million (£31.6m) by 2011. To Fishman, she wrote, "i created the platform for that inclusivity and you know http://it.ME".

Barr sparked a storm of controversy in the USA overnight when she compared former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, who is African-American, to an ape.

In a statement, ABC said Barr's tweet "is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values", leading to the cancellation of the show. I imagine George Soros's nephews are lovely people. I am very sorry to have hurt you. "I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but.don't defend it please. ty", she tweeted. I feel so empowered by @iamwandasykes, Channing Dungey and anyone at ABC standing up for morals and abuse of power.
