On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee released testimony that Trump pressed for the meeting ahead of the Miss Universe contest, which was being held in Russian Federation that year.

Much of the report was devoted to questions about the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and other Trump campaign officials and several Russians that had been advertised as an opportunity for the campaign to collect dirt on Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

"Our staff has concluded that [intelligence services] findings were accurate and correct", said Senate committee vice President, Democrat Mark R. Warner, in a joint statement with president, Republican Senator Richard Burr.

The meeting, which was also attended by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and Manafort, has been examined by investigators as to whether the Trump campaign sought to collude with Russian officials to influence the election.

Schiff said Trump Jr. invoked the privilege because his lawyers claimed that the discussion with his father took place in the presence of legal counsel, which Schiff and other Democrats argued is a situation not covered by the privilege. The first is attempted coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation, and the second is possible obstruction of justice regarding the investigation into that potential collusion.

"In the transcript from Trump Jr.'s testimony, he says, "(I) n his email to me Rob suggested that someone had official documents and information that would incriminate Hilary Clinton and her dealings with Russian Federation and that the information would be very useful to the campaign".

Feinstein sent letters to Butina, Keene and Erickson requesting documents and asking them to appear for interviews, but they refused to cooperate, the report said. "He was nearly like lying there, like, you know, on his phone, and it's through the whole meeting", Akhmetshin said.

Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler, from Venezuela, left, and pageant owner Donald Trump point to each other while posing for a photo after the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow on November 9, 2013. The investigations also explore wher re was obstruction to justice by President of United States, who fueled this suspicion when in May previous year he dismissed James Comey as director of FBI, when he was on top of this case. "I've just sat in a meeting about adoption".

Netta Barzilai reached the final of the Eurovision song contest
Ryan told the Eurovision cameras backstage how it was impossible to describe the feeling of being called up for the final. The Czech Republic's Mikolas Josef has progressed to Saturday's final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon.

"You could tell that they were not interested, and they were like looking at their phones or like, you know, just looking the other way, their watch", Akhmetshin told the committee.

He said he reported back to Emin Agalarov that "this was the most embarrassing thing you've ever asked me to do".

Goldstone told the Senate committee that on the day of the pageant, around 4 p.m., a call came in to Aras Agalarov from Dmitry Peskov, Putin's top spokesman.

Rob Goldstone, a music promoter who acted as an intermediary between Trump Jr and the Russians, said no damaging information was presented to the campaign team.

In the email exchange, Veselnitskaya was identified as a "Russian government attorney". As Mother Jones noted, the testimony painted a picture of Trump "fixated" on meeting with Putin and crushed when the Russian president did not have time for him.

In his testimony to Congress, Trump Jr. confirmed he was talking about the opposition research when he said "I love it".

"Q. So at the time you sent this email, did you have any reason to believe that the Russian Government was making efforts to interfere in the USA presidential election?"

Mr Trump did not make it to Mr Agalarov's party in Moscow.
