After a lengthy and public trial in both the court of opinion and the halls of justice, Bill Cosby has been convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand 14 years ago. Till, for those who don't know their black history, was a 14-year-old African-American who was lynched in MS in 1955, after a white woman said she was offended by him whistling at her.

The defense is likely to focus its appeal on the judge's decision to allow five additional accusers to testify.

Cosby's publicist, Ebonee Benson also took part in the interview saying that their team is working quickly to appeal the guilty verdict.

But now that you've been found guilty, I can publicly cheer the courageous women who made that happen.

"I'm not going to simply lock him up right now", hit back an irritated Judge Steven O'Neill, referencing Cosby's age and medical condition. Cosby is now still out on bail, but he has been restricted from leaving his home.

The prosecution, meanwhile, said the payment was evidence of Cosby's guilt. He is sorry. He now says he hopes Friday's verdict will encourage victims to come forward like Constand did.

For now, Cosby is not permitted to leave his Pennsylvania home.

A judge says Cosby will be confined to the same suburban Philadelphia mansion where jurors concluded he drugged and molested a Temple University women's basketball administrator, ordering him to be outfitted with a Global Positioning System ankle bracelet to monitor compliance.

It was the only criminal case to arise from a barrage of allegations from more than 60 women who said Cosby drugged and molested them over five decades but whose stories were often disbelieved or ignored years before #MeToo put a spotlight on sexual misconduct by powerful men.

Rose McGowan said, "Cosby is guilty". Cosby's lawyers slammed #MeToo, calling Cosby its victim and likening it to a witch hunt or a lynching. But minutes later, prosecutors asked the judge to revoke Cosby's bail because, they said, he had a private plane and might skip town.

Oil Prices Continues Gain As Brent Crude Hits $74.2 Per Barrel
Said Greg McKenna, chief market strategist at futures brokerage AxiTrader, "The market does look a little toppish". Trump has until May 12 to decide whether to pull out of the deal.

His attorney, Tom Mesereau, said Thursday he plans to appeal "very strongly".

"Was it prejudicial to Cosby's case in the sense that it hurt his chances of getting an acquittal?"

"So did it hurt (Cosby's) case?"

"He smelled like cigars and espresso and his body odour", she said.

"He was convicted of three counts of (indecent assault), so technically that would be up to 30 years. However, we have to look at the merger of those counts to determine what the final maximum will be".

Legal analyst Areva Martin said the judge's rulings so far suggest he will give Cosby a much reduced sentence.

"I think he'll ask the court and do whatever he needs to, to have his client remain out at liberty until these issues are decided, whether it was appropriate to allow all those accusers to testify, and how prejudicial and unfair would that be", Jackson said. Cosby served on the Temple board of directors for decades before resigning in 2014.

A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.

Dickinson - who has accused Cosby of drugging and raping her in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, in 1982 under the guise of career help - was one of several women to testify against Cosby during the Pennsylvania retrial that began earlier this month.

"I believe that it's essential he spend time in jail and it wouldn't break my heart to see him spend the rest of his life in jail", Janice Baker-Kinney said Friday.

Because you could just deny the assaults or say without contradiction that they Wanted It. "That's definitely an important moment in history".
