The major difference is that the new Surface Pro is powered by 7 Generation intel Kaby Lake processors and offers 50-Percent more battery life compared to its predecessor (rated to last for 13.5 hours on a single charge). The company launched the Surface Pro 4 tablet back in 2016. Interestingly, Microsoft has also announced the pricing of official accessories for the new laptop: Surface Pro Type Cover, Signature Type Cover, Surface Pen, and Surface Arc Mouse. For the uninitiated, the Surface range is a flagship tablet and laptop lineup from Microsoft.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 gets a similar 12.3-inch (2736 x 1824p) touch-screen display. It runs Windows 10 Pro out-of-the-box.
