The new Dex pad is said to be launched alongside the Galaxy S9 Duo. The Animoji feature of the iPhone X was one of the most talked about features of the phone, so it is no surprise that this has made its way over to Samsung's upcoming flagship. The report also reiterates other Galaxy S9 rumors, like its variable aperture function and better facial recognition and iris scanning. Those who've already installed the Android 8.0 and Samsung Experience 9.0-combining goodie pack shouldn't downgrade just yet, as long as they're happy with the refreshed UX. The feature works by scanning your face and creating a 3D character that mimics your fine-tuned facial movements and expressions, says the report.
Sources told ETNews claiming that the Galaxy S9 will come with a "3D emoji" feature that will work nearly identical to how Apple'sAnimoji works on the iPhone X (via Android Authority). Phone Arena believes that the feature might officially be called "3D Stickers".
Stereo speakers, they're a classic but they're not going away as the S9 will allegedly come packing a pair.
One of the other new features of the Galaxy S9 will be stereo speakers. The new speaker setup means users won't have to worry about accidentally covering up a speaker while playing games or watching videos and interrupting their audio. So Korea's ET News has found out about some of the new-old features, that are coming (back) to the new Galaxy S9. The Bell also reported that Samsung is still studying the on-screen fingerprint scanners so there's a silver lining. Many suppliers, for the past couple of years, have been working with Samsung for the in-screen fingerprint sensors, but the technology keeps getting delayed due to technical restrictions. In this case, there would be a bottom-firing speaker and another built into the earpiece. Unfortunately, it looks like the Bixby button will also make its comeback.
