In a statement to The Verge, YouTube explained that Paul's ad revenue was going to be "temporarily" suspended following the company's realization that the "pattern of behavior in his videos. makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community".

After the uproar at the start of the year over Paul's December 31 video showing an apparently lifeless, hanging body, he took a leave of absence from social media and YouTube removed him from Google Preferred, a premier ad service that offers brand advertisers access to top channel producers.

YouTube says Paul violated those guidelines when he posted a video - viewed more than 8 million times - of himself shooting two dead rats with a taser and then laughing gleefully.

You would think, after the scandal over his video featuring a suicide victim, Logan Paul would simply have stayed a bit under the radar.

Since his return to YouTube, he has made a video in which he fired a taser at a dead rat, and joked on Twitter about eating detergent capsules.

Eurostar to launch London - Amsterdam service on April 4
Eurostar is opening a direct high-speed train route between London and Amsterdam this spring, the rail company announced Friday . Work is ongoing at stations in Amsterdam and Rotterdam to build passport and security clearance facilities.

YouTube recently tightened their rules surrounding advertiser friendly content on the video hosting site, leading to a large number of alternative channels being de monetised completely.

As with Paul, YouTube makes a point of the fact that none of this will apply to the majority of people who post content on its platform, and these sorts of sanctions will be applied as a last resort and will often not permanent but will last until the creator removes or alters content. This sparked outrage from PETA, calling for the video to be removed from YouTube. Paul chose not to run ads in that video, given its sensitive nature.

Google Preferred is reserved for the top channels on YouTube, and is more expensive for advertisers. In response to the outrage, YouTube cut the influencer from all of its originals projects that were now in development, put an age requirement on his channel, and removed him from its Google's premium advertising program. Apparently, he has not learned his lesson and has been stripped of ad revenue by YouTube after posting videos encouraging bad behavior. "No matter how much hate or comments from random strangers I've never even seen or heard of in my life - "Logan, you're trash, you're garbage, rot in hell, die, hang yourself" - it's noise to me".

Paul is one of the most popular video creators on the site with 16 million subscribers.
