As of now, the Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor is there in the mass production stage.

Samsung has used its second-generation 10nm FinFET process technology to build this new processor and will sport 8 cores, of which 4 would be custom CPU cores and the other 4 Cortex A-55 cores. CPU will have four third-generation custom cores, which are relegated to power-intensive tasks and can operate at a maximum clock speed of 2.9 (GHz), with another cluster of four cores optimized for efficiency. Now, ahead of CES 2018, Samsung is showing off the Exynos chipset we'll see powering some variants of the Galaxy S9 - the Exynos 9810. Samsung also touts twice as much single-core performance and roughly 40 percent more powerful multi-core performance.

Thanks to the neural network-based deep learning and robust security offered by the Exynos 9810, smartphones with this chipset will be able to easily identify people and objects in photos for depth sensing or for quickly performing image search.

Its 3D scanning capabilities enables facial recognition, and comes with stronger security mechanism when unlocking a device with one's face. But let's remember that Samsung will also use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 for the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 this year, which means that it'll have to find a way to offer a consistent experience across devices, regardless of processor type. Obviously you'll need the right network to actually support those technologies, but with Apple taking the decision to not activate LTE Advanced in the iPhone X, it could make the Galaxy S9 significantly faster online.

Apple will replace your iPhone battery for $29 regardless of test results
Apple previously announced that it would replace any degraded batteries in the iPhone6 and above for a lower price of $29. The news was first spotted by iGeneration by way of an internal memo, and has since been confirmed by MacRumors .

The most anticipated next-generation chipsets of South Korean giant Samsung have finally gone official. It is said to be faster and more energy efficient, enabling 1.07 billion colours, real-time advanced stabilisation and Bokeh effects, plus reduced noise and motion blur in low light.

The Exynos 9810 is one of the first chips with a Cat.18 LTE modem featuring 6x carrier aggregation and up to 1.2Gbps download and 200Mbps upload speeds. There's even a separate security processing unit to safeguard critical personal data including facial, iris and fingerprint information. The new MFC supports recording and playback of UHD video up to 120 fps and also comes with 10-bit HEVC decoding for enhanced color reproduction.

In particular, the industry expects that Samsung Electronics will expand the application scope of the latest chipset to other smart devices and autonomous vehicles as the company strengthened its AI-based image recognition and categorization function.
