Ahead of his scheduled appearance at the Super Bowl 2018 halftime show, the singer announced that his fifth studio album, titled "Man of the Woods", will drop February 2, with the first single available on Friday.

The album is titled Man of the Woods, according to a trailer video, and it explores rugged, new terrain for the NSYNC alum. This album follows the 2013 release of The 20/20 Experience which boasted songs like "Don't Hold The Wall", "Suit & Tie", "TKO", and shared production credits with Timbaland and J-Roc.

The announcement of new music comes at a flawless time, as Justin's album will drop two days before he is due to headline the 2018 Super Bowl half-time show.

Some of Hollywood's most powerful women launch anti-harassment project
The Time's Up website details and defines what sexual harassment is, and what to do if it happens to you. It has vowed to push for legislation to strengthen laws on workplace harassment and discrimination.

Timberlake describes the album as the most personal thing he's ever done, drawing on his Tennessee roots.

"It feels like mountains, trees, campfires", the trailer explains.

Would Justin Timberlake survive in the woods alone with nothing but his wits, good looks and animal instinct? "Like Wild West but now." Ok.

Presumably, Timberlake's 2016 smash "Can't Stop the Feeling!" doesn't fit with this aesthetic. Record producer and Man of the Woods collaborator, Pharrell Williams also makes an appearance in the clip.
